1. Data Collection

Smart Modes does not collect, store or share personal data of any kind. The app runs entirely on your device. Modes, widgets and settings stay local unless you choose to export them yourself.

2. Device Permissions

The app only requests the permissions required for its features:

• WRITE_SETTINGS: Change brightness, screen timeout, orientation and related system settings.
• MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS: Adjust media, ring, alarm and notification volume.
• ACCESS_NOTIFICATION_POLICY (Do Not Disturb): Turn DND on or off when included in a mode or widget.
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM: Run scheduled automations on time.
• VIBRATE: Apply vibration preferences when a mode includes them.
